Thousands protest micro-plastic spillage management

A demonstration has taken place in the capital city of Galicia to protest against the situation of sea workers in the context of the plastic spillage. More than 130 organizations took part in the demonstration, managing to bring thousands of demonstrators.

Analysis

Media management achieved to present the protest as a movement from the opposition in the context of the elections. The protest did not manage to have an impact on public opinion regarding the crisis of the pellets, or governmental miss-management of sea-related productive sectors. Opposition parties took part in the demonstration, without any major lack of coordination. Comparison with the Prestige has favored a limited impact of this demonstration.
