International support for BNG

Spanish media reflects on international support for BNG. After Argentinian Nobel prize of Galician Origin, Adolfo Pérez Esquivel, requested support for BNG through social media account of Ignacio Ramonet, now popular Uruguay ex-president José Mujica asked to support BNG in a video reminding about the importance of Galician migration in his country, and asking to support BNG.

Analysis

International support is widely recognized as a vehicle for mobilization. These two cases of support from prominent international figures adds up to the inclusion of Galician agenda in the European Parliament. The case of Mujica is specially relevant, due to the widespread reflection of this news in Spanish media, including the cover page of Spanish language news aggregator Menéame.
