BNG Member of the European Parliament, Ana Miranda, has managed to introduce the issue of the micro-plastic spillage in the Plenary session of the European Parliament. As an outcome, the European Commission has agreed to consider broadening the relevant legislation. Videos of the interventions have reached Spanish social media.
